Though generally described as several 'separate' oceans, these waters comprise one global, interconnected body of salt water often referred to as the World Ocean or global ocean.
This concept of a continuous body of water with relatively free interchange among its parts is of fundamental importance to oceanography.
Scientists estimate that 230,000 marine life forms of all types are currently known, but the total could be up to 10 times that number.

A pendant, or lavalier, is a type of jewelry, consisting of a pendant suspended from a necklace.
Pendants are also called lavaliers.
A lavalier is named for the type of pendant popularized by the Duchesse de la Vallière,
a mistress of King Louis XIV of France.
Within the fashion world, the name was eventually shortened to "lavalier"
The lavalier can be recognized most for its drop that usually consists of a stone
or a chandelier type of drop which is attached to the chain and not attached by a bale.
